Design approach

Mihoray's design approach centered on silicone neon flex as the primary light source, selected for its ability to produce homogeneous glow lines around the complex curves of the podium metalwork. Unlike rigid linear fixtures that would require custom bending at each curve, neon flex can follow organic architectural forms while maintaining consistent optical output. The custom 12×20mm profile was developed through iterative prototyping with the project's metalwork fabricator to ensure the mounting channel dimensions and clip positions aligned with the facade contractor's construction tolerances. The DMX512 control layer was designed as a trunk-and-branch architecture: a fiber-optic backbone connects zone controllers, with each controller managing a section of the plaza independently. Installation process
